Tóm tắt

In the digital era, online newspapers not only need to provide fast and accurate information but also meet the diverse needs of the public through multimedia content. This study explores the manifestations of public reception of multimedia content in online newspapers in Vietnam, especially in the context of digital transformation in journalism by 2025 and towards 2030. Using quantitative and qualitative statistical methods, and hypothesis testing, our research answered two questions: (1) the main manifestations-time of access, satisfaction with multimedia interfaces, and video-watching habits; and (2) the differences by age and gender in the public's reception of multimedia content. Findings indicate evening peak engagement 51.1%, high satisfaction with interfaces (69.7%), and clear differences in video habits across age groups. These results contribute context-specific insights for digital journalism in Vietnam.
